EVERTON ANDERSON has been the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Fund (NHF) and an Ex-Officio member of the NHF Board of Management since January 2013. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Cornwall Regional Hospital (CRH), a position he held for over 10 years. He also has management experience in primary health care in the Western Regional Health Authority.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies and his Master of Business Administration in Public Sector Management from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

Named as Boss of the Year in 2003, Anderson is a results-oriented executive, highly focused on improvement initiatives that utilise technology and on implementing best practices relating to governance, management and accountability.

His wealth of experience in the health industry has guided the NHF through to notable accomplishments, including most recently being crowned the overall winner of the Public Sector Corporate Governance Award for the 2016-2017 Financial Year. He serves as the Co- Chair of the LINAC Steering Committee which is responsible for the establishment of the new National Cancer Treatment centres in Montego Bay and Kingston, which is among the largest investments in healthcare in Jamaica.

Currently a member of the Board of Cornwall College, he previously served as Board member at Maldon High School, Herbert Morrison Technical High School and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Montego Bay Street People Programme.
