DR. DANA MORRIS DIXON is the Deputy Chair of the National Health Fund (NHF). She was appointed in 2017 and, alongside Chairman Gregory Mair, shares the responsibility overseeing the policies and general administration of the affairs of the Fund.

Dr. Morris Dixon is an Executive in Business Advisory Services and is the Chief Research Officer at the Jamaica National Group. She successfully led its Business Transformation Project ensuring its successful reorganisation and spearheaded the conversion of the building society to a commercial bank.

She previously worked at the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) in various capacities, including Acting President; Manager of the Caribbean, Latin America & Emerging Markets department; and was appointed Vice President of Planning & Corporate Development. Prior to joining JAMPRO, she was the Director of Development Policy, Planning and Strategy in the Office of the Prime Minister.

Dr. Morris Dixon is a Fulbright Scholar and holds a first degree in Economics and International Relations with First Class Honours and a Master's degree in Government, specialising in International Relations, both from the University of the West Indies, Mona. She completed her Ph.D. in International Studies at the University of Denver, Graduate School of International Studies. At present, she also chairs the National Family Planning Board and serves as a board member on the International Women’s Forum, National Land Agency, Runaway Bay Development Company Limited, Grand Jamaica Homecoming Advisory Council and the Jamaica Fulbright-Humphrey Alumni Association
